After their quarrel during the Osun gubernatorial election months ago, music artist Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has pleaded with pop star Davido for his forgiveness.

Recall that Davido backed Ademola Adeleke, his uncle and the winner of the election, while Portable supported Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Portable had criticised Davido at the time for unfollowing him on Instagram because of his support for Oyetola.

“Once again, my father is not a rich man. I come from the trenches but managed to bring my family into wealth. So support those who support you. They wasted no time in unfollowing us,” he had said.

Portable recently apologised on Instagram and begged Davido’s pardon.

“Accept your pass without regrets handle your present with confidence face your future without fear…Akoi apologies to @davido. We no get any issue. Akoi loyalty. Won ti settle eh,” he wrote.

Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, the Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu, gave him the order to beg Davido for forgiveness for his actions during the election, and that is when he made his apology.
