Singer Davido threw a welcome party for his wife Chioma Rowland upon her return to Nigeria following the birth of their twins.

The pair enjoyed a low-key dinner party at a restaurant before heading to a club in Lagos.

Davido’s friend and celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest released a video of the couple on Instagram on Thursday as they were eating dinner.

The video also shows Davido, Chioma and Cubana Chief Priest partying together at the club with Davido’s song ‘Unavailable’ playing in the background.

A happy Chioma could be seen vibing to her husband’s music as Davido took selfies with Cubana whose real name is Paschal Okechukwu.

Captioning the video, Cubana Chief Priest called Chioma “Mama Ejima” which means mother of twins.

Chioma first made her first public appearance after the twins’ birth at a family member’s birthday party in Atlanta, US.

It was first rumoured on Friday, October 13 that the 31-year-old singer and his wife had welcomed a set of twins, a boy and a girl, in the United States about a year after their son Ifeanyi drowned in Lagos.

Celebrities, including actress Iyabo Ojo, began congratulating the couple on the birth of the twins.

A video then emerged showing Chioma being wheeled out of a hospital with her twins and Davido smiling beside her.

Speaking at the United Masters Select Con event held on October 15, Davido said he and his wife were shaking when they found out they were expecting twins.

“When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month my son passed. My son passed away last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October,” he said.

Davido also said the death of his son would have made anyone lose faith in God.
