Saheed Osupa mourns Mohbad

Saheed Osupa, a Nigerian Fuji musician, has taken to social media to mourn late singer Mohbad.

The 54-year-old shared a photo of Mohbad on Instagram, noting how painful it was to witness the sudden death of a rising star.

“Too painful to witness the sudden death, of a young promising rising star @iammohbad. May Almighty God grant him an eternal rest, and give his family and friends the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss,” he captioned his Wednesday post.

Mohbad’s family released a statement confirming his death on Tuesday.

He was buried on Wednesday in Ikorodu.

The 27-year-old was nominated for Best Street Hip-Hop Artiste at the recently concluded 16th Headies Awards for his song ‘Peace’.

Mohbad had a son with his girlfriend Omowunmi.
