Kemi Afolabi seeks help for daughter

Actress Kemi Afolabi has appealed to her supporters on behalf of her daughter Darasimi.

The Yoruba movie star, who is receiving lupus treatment in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, requested assistance from travellers heading to Nigeria to deliver a package to her daughter.

Kemi Afolabi posted the following on her Instagram story on Thursday: “Anyone in Maryland USA leaving to Nigeria this weekend or max next week? Help me take something to my daughter for school Edakun. Thank you in advance.”

On March 11, Kemi Afolabi revealed in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo that she had been given a lupus diagnosis. The actress also mentioned that her medical professional has given her only five years to live.

Following the news, a fundraising campaign for the actress was started by a number of famous people, including Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Mercy Aigbe, Yomi Fabiyi, Jaiye Kuti, and Day Amusa.
