Nnamdi Omoni, a former spokesman for the Rivers State Police Command, has passed away.
Omoni passed away on Tuesday in the state capital of Rivers, Port Harcourt.
According to The Will, the cause of his death was not immediately apparent.
Omoni, a lawyer by profession, was from Rundele in Rivers State’s Emohua Local Government Area.
Last Friday in Port Harcourt, he had his birthday.
Prior to his passing, Omoni served as the divisional police officer for the Elimgbu Police Station in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area.
After being elevated to the position of superintendent of police, he was assigned to the Elimgbu Police Division.
Regarding the incident, Rivers police have not made any official statements.
