NBA under fire over Portable’s performance at national conference
Netizens have criticised the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for selecting singer Portable as a special guest artiste.
In the early hours of Thursday, some lawyers walked out of an NBA concert held as part of the organization’s Annual General Conference.
The Unbarred concert took place at Abuja’s Velodrome, MKO Abiola Stadium.
Social media videos show a shirtless Portable climbing some of the stadium’s equipment.
Many of the lawyers questioned the choice of the Zazu singer and opted to walk out of the show.
Netizens say the choice of Portable as guest musician means the NBA has no moral justification to probe Ifunanya Grant aka Baddest Lawyer who has been accused of posting photos of herself smoking weed and also nude pictures.
