Nollywood costumier Prince Onyenwere arrested for allegedly raping 10-year-old girl on movie set

Prince Onyenwere, a Nollywood actor and costume designer, has been arrested in Asaba for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl on set.

In a video circulating on social media, Prince Onyenwere was seen being beaten by other people thought to be his coworkers, who continued to beat him for allegedly abusing the kid.

A voice in the background could be heard saying, “R*pist, you no fit control your dick.”

A source who wishes to remain anonymous told reporters on Tuesday that the incident happened on Sunday at a hotel in Asaba. The source who was on the movie set with Prince said the costumier has been handed over to the police after he was badly beaten.

“After beating him, they took him to the police station,” the source said.

Another report said the little girl who is also a child actress was s*xually abused by Prince while changing her outfit for the next scene in a hotel room at the movie location.

The Delta State Police has not released any official statement regarding the matter as of the time of filing this report.

Prince Onyenwere has worked with actors like Zack Orji, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Walter Anga, Nosa Rex, Ebele Uche and Rita Edochie.
