Actor Shoneye Olamilekan, also known to as Papa Show, has apologised to actress Temidiayo Morakinyo for attacking her on the set of a film.

Temidayo came to Instagram in May 2023 to accuse the actor of assault, claiming the event occurred on a film set in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Her weeping and bleeding lips may be seen in the videos. On Thursday, the actress claimed that Papa Show hit her in the face after she reported his excesses to her supervisor.

Explaining how it happened, Temidayo said she was on a movie set on Wednesday when Papa Show called her rudely to buy him a drink. She further stated that she felt ridiculed with how he talked to her, but did as he said.

The actress reported him to her bosses, Niyi Johnson and Afeez Seriki, who promised to address the issue.

The incident led to Papa Show’s suspension by the African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK).

However, in an interview with actress Biola Bayo, Papa Show begged for forgiveness from the public and the actress, seven months after the incident.

He said: “Hello everyone, I am using this medium to say I am truly sorry for what happened in the last few months between a lady called Temidayo. What is gone is gone, and I feel that even to her personally, from the bottom of my heart, I am saying that I am truly sorry for what happened to you and from me. I am very sorry.”
