Jerry Amilo, an actor, has sparked outrage on social media by posting a video of himself with light skin.

Despite the fact that the video was posted a week earlier, it only became widely circulated on the internet on Thursday, December 21.

The actor with blonde hair was observed looking lighter than usual in the now-viral footage.

His new look sparked reactions on social media as many wondered if the actor was bleaching while some opined that he might be suffering from a skin disease.

Others, however, said it’s possible that Jerry used a Snapchat filter to appear in that manner as he looked almost the same in other of his recent videos.

Many Instagram users took to the comment section of the post to react to his new look.

“Why are you breaching oga?” An Instagram user identified as Nancy Gmbah asked.

“Senior man, nogo yellow sotee you go vanish ooo,” Adrian wrote.

Nwanze General wrote: “Oga stop bleaching there’s no difference between you and abini.”

Annabel wrote: “No disrespect please, seriously I think your dark completion is more okay and better than lighting your skin don’t get me wrong but is just and advice you can still ask people that really love you I mean your own people you know they genuinely love you.”

Xxcode wrote: “Why do you want to cut your life short through bleaching na by force to be fair bone?”

“You don turn Albino finish oh what’s going on,” Captain Pradah wrote.

“I think it’s filtered at the end of the video check that guy’s leg and the lady sitting in the car. Their skin tone is white as well,” Nuel Iykes wrote.

“It’s obviously a filter u can see how the other guy looks too maybe it’s because he’s fairer that’s why he came out that way,” Cindy Trella added.

Jerry has remained silent on the comments about the video.

The 52-year-old made his Nollywood bow in 1993 when he played the role of ‘Anini’ in the movie Bruno and the Law.

He survived a fatal accident which he said kept him in a coma for three days.
