Media personality Do2dtun has said that denying actor Saint Obi access to his children eventually took his life.

Do2tun made this known in a recent post on X formerly known as Twitter while addressing couples who use their children as a weapon during custody battle.

Do2dtun who recounted his conversation with a member of Saint Obi’s family, revealed that the actor died in his family house in Jos.

“Let’s normalize the fact that children are not objects. They have rights. When a child demands the right to see or be with a parent and you deny them, you have trampled on their rights. Listen! A child is not a material meant for one person to keep,” he wrote.

Do2dtun who is currently fighting with his ex-wife over custody, continued: “I spoke to a family member of Saint Obi. He passed away in their house in Jos and you have absolutely no idea what that man went through. Denying him his kids and fighting eventually took his life.

“You believe you are winning a fight by weaponizing kids? I am sorry; YOU ARE A LOSER.”

Saint Obi came onto the acting scene in 1996 after doing a commercial for Peugeot on NTA and went on to feature in more than 100 movies.

Saint Obi died in Plateau State on May 8, 2023 at the age of 57 after battling a protracted ailment. He was buried on August 18 in his hometown Umuezealaeze, Alaenyi Ogwa in Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Imo State.
