Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, senior pastor of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), has been rushed to a hospital after collapsing at an airport on Thursday.

A video of the clergyman collapsing and being supported by an aide went viral.

Chinyere requested prayers in a Facebook post that included photographs of him receiving treatment at an unnamed facility.

“Please pray for me this morning,” he wrote.

Chinyere has been heartbroken in recent times over the actions of people he has helped.

Former Chicken Republic security guards Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, popularly known as Happie Boys, recently accused him of abandoning them in Cyprus where he sent them to school on scholarship.

The Happie Boys later apologised for their actions.

Also, the parents of Deborah Samuel, the student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto who was killed on campus for alleged blasphemy, were reported to have accused Chinyere and OPM of abandoning them.

They, however, debunked the reports, saying they did not talk with the press.

Before his breakdown, Chinyere had written on Facebook: “Don’t help everyone poor person. Some are poor because they are naturally ungrateful.”
