Police invade Seun Kuti’s house for separate crime exhibits, seize wife’s phone
Watch The Lagos State Police Command raided the home of famed artist Seun Kuti on Tuesday in search of evidence to charge him with a different offence.
During the raid, the security personnel who carried out the search allegedly grabbed Kuti’s wife’s cell phone.
This comes only hours after Yaba Magistrate’s Court granted Seun bail on Tuesday.
A popular video on social media, however, showed the moment police officers performed a search at the troubled singer’s residence located at Akin Osiyemi, off Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos.
Recall that the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Usman Alkali Baba, had ordered Kuti’s arrest after he slapped a police officer on the 3rd Mainland Bridge last week.
