BBNaija’s Tochi calls out Nigerian employers for exploiting workers

Tochi, a former housemate of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show, recently ignited an internet discussion after he remarked about how some Nigerian employers treat their staff.

Tochi disclosed in a post on his Instagram stories that certain firms frequently hire employees for a particular position but then force them to perform other duties while underpaying them.

The reality star claims that only in Nigeria would an employer hire a chef and then make him work as a driver, cleaner, gateman, nanny, and other jobs while paying him a pittance.

In his words;

“Nigerians will employ a chef and turn him into a nanny, gateman, cleaner, driver and delivery agent and still pay him 17,500 naira.”
