Why everyone should see ‘Farida’s Secret’ – Mojisola Adebanjo

Actress and filmmaker, Mojisola Adebanjo is in the best of moods at the moment. The reason for her joy isn’t far from the release of her highly anticipated movie, ‘Farida’s Secret.

The flick features Adeniy Johnson,Bimpe Akintunde, Kiki Bakre, Damilola Oni,  Kiitan Bukola and a host of others.

the star studded premiere of the film

which was held in Lekki Lagos, celebrities like Eloswag, Joseph Momodu, Kiitan Bukola Giddyfia, Dotun BBNaija  and others were in attendance.

Shedding light on the movie, Mojisola Adebanjo said: “Farida’s Secret is a movie I want everyone to see. It’s a movie that teaches one about religion, culture. It’s also to make one know that voodoo and charms actually exist. It is laced with romance, comedy and horror”.

The movie which is currently being shown  on Apata Tv YouTube channel,  also features Adunni Ade, Joseph Momodu and others.

On why she decided to infuse horror in the movie, Adebanjo said:” I just wanted to do something different. To be sincere I am yet to see a Nigerian movie with a horror part in recent times.I wanted to do something different with message.Its the story of a lady that becomes unrecognizable whenever she wants to make love with her partner”.

 Adebanjo also expressed her gratitude to the attendees for their support, saying, “I am so thrilled that my film resonated with so many people. I wanted to create a movie that not only entertains but also inspires and challenges our perspectives on important issues. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to share Farida’s story with the world.”
