Funke Akindele makes public plea ahead of elections

Funke Akindele, an actress, movie producer, and politician, has made a public appeal ahead of the upcoming general elections this weekend across Nigeria.

Recall that since her election as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate in Lagos, Funke Akindele’s colleagues, including best friend Eniola Badmus, have been politically divided over their support for preferred presidential and governorship candidates.

Although Eniola Badmus congratulated Funke on her appointment, the two have avoided each other on social media, particularly in posts about supporting their respective candidates.

Funke Akindele has now shared a video on Instagram in which she instructs her followers on how to vote for her party in the upcoming election.

The box office queen outlined the proper procedure and approach to casting a valid vote for her party.
