Mr Macaroni condemns assault on Davido’s fan by aide

Mr. Macaroni, an actor and skit maker, has condemned Davido’s aide’s assault on a fan.

ER reports that a video of the man slapped by one of Davido’s aides for attempting to take a picture with the Grammy nominee has gone viral on social media.

In the video, the fan is assaulted by the aide as he attempts to approach Davido.

Mr Macaroni condemned the assault and described it as “dehumanising” in a post on X on Tuesday.

He wrote: “This is sad and highly condemnable!!! There is absolutely no need for this assault. This is dehumanizing and I speak against it because I know exactly how this feels. The change that we all seek must begin with us!!!’

In another post, Mr Macroni cautioned fans against approaching celebrities to take pictures without their permission while encouraging his colleagues to treat their fans with respect.

“Please, if you must take pictures with any of your favorite celebrity, kindly seek permission so that you are not seen as a threat. Respect is reciprocal. We must respect the privacy of our celebrities and Celebrities must also learn to treat our fans with respect and dignity,” he added.
