Mercy Aigbe gushes as daughter Michelle graduates from Canadian university
Actress Mercy Aigbe could not hold back her tears of joy as her daughter Michelle graduated from the University of Manitoba in Canada.
The 45-year-old posted a video via Instagram in the late hours of Thursday, showing her emotional self and Michelle at the latter’s graduation ceremony.
In the video, the mother of two could be seen with friends and family members who showed up to support Michelle, including Mercy’s husband Kazim Adeoti.
Captioning the video, she wrote: “She Did it, I Did it, We Did it, GOD DID IT. @michelleio__ I am super proud of you. Congratulations my love! @michelleio__ To God be all the glory, honor and adoration.”
Several celebrities also stormed the comment section of the post to congratulate mother and daughter.
“Congratulations to both of you, my love, yes….. she DID IT,” Iyabo Ojo wrote.

An emotional Olayinka Solomon also joined others in congratulating them saying, “I am highly super proud of you ma’am… we shall all witness this day in our children’s life… I’m so emotional.”
