Comedian AY reacts as fire guts his Lagos house

Ayodeji Makun, also known as AY, a well-known Nigerian comedian, has commented on the Sunday night fire that destroyed his home in Lagos.

A popular video posted on social media by the user @Postsubman reveals that AY’s home was completely destroyed by fire on Sunday. The multi-story building’s roof was on fire.

Many AY coworkers and fans, including his younger brother and fashion designer Yomi Casual, expressed their sympathy for the comedian and his family in response.

AY posted videos and images of his wife and kids who are currently on vacation abroad on his Instagram page, thanking God for keeping his family safe and praising him for it.

He wrote: “Family and God. That is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few days.”

The cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown.
