Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, a maverick singer, has provoked outrage with a new disclosure regarding his family’s mental health background.

The self-styled “Area Fada” said that his deceased father frequently told him that “Oputas are very special people.”

Although the sanity of his family “might be debatable,” according to Charly Boy, their closeness is strong.

On Tuesday, he revealed it on Twitter while posting a picture of himself and his cousin Uriel Oputa.

He captioned the photo; “My darling cuz,

“The Oputas are very special people, my father never let me forget that.

“Yesoooo, our sanity might be debatable, but our bond is unbreakable.
