Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has broken her silence in an emotional outcry against her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, accusing him of deliberately separating her from their children and taking legal steps to shut her out of their lives.
The actress made the disclosure on her Instagram page, where she shared a heartbreaking video of herself on a video call with her sons, revealing that the last time she physically spoke with them was mid-November.
According to Regina, while many people assume she is living happily and unbothered, the reality is far from it.
“People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children,” she wrote.
Regina explained that her silence over the past weeks was not because she was unaffected, but because she refused to let the pain imprison her.
“I chose not to allow that pain to define or imprison me, which is why it took time for me to walk away,” she stated.
The actress said she deliberately stayed quiet to avoid escalating the situation publicly, but recent actions by her husband forced her to speak.
In one of her strongest statements yet, Regina questioned Ned Nwoko’s decision to repeatedly post their children publicly amid their ongoing family dispute.
She described it as ironic and troubling, especially given his public status.
“The repeated public exposure of my children reflects a troubling and deliberate pursuit of negative attention by their father,” she wrote.
Regina further added:
“It is implausible that a public figure, particularly one with legislative experience, would be unaware that posting our children publicly at this time would inevitably attract media scrutiny.”
She did not stop there, taking a sharp jab at the former senator:
“Clearly this man keeps acting like a baby. Meaning it’s now safe to call this one-term senator a content creator.”
The mother of two also made serious allegations, claiming that Ned Nwoko dismissed all her nannies and pressured them into making damaging statements against her.
“Ned dismissed all my nannies, pressured them into making false statements accusing me of violence and alcohol abuse in front of the children, and has since filed for full custody, despite already having the children in his care.”
She questioned why such extreme actions were being taken against her.
“I am left to wonder whether I am truly such a threat that I am being challenged so aggressively.”
Regina passionately defended her role as a mother, stressing that her age does not diminish her love, commitment, or capability.
“I may be young, but I am such a mum. I enjoy being a mum, and I miss being a mum,” she said.
She ended her statement with a firm declaration:
“It’s so crazy if their father thinks I won’t come for my children. I will definitely see my kids soon!”
Recall that last month, Regina Daniels publicly confirmed the end of her marriage, citing domestic violence as the reason for walking away.

In response, Ned Nwoko released a statement attributing the marital crisis to what he described as Regina’s “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.”
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the politician said his actions were driven by concern for her wellbeing and the children, insisting that he wanted her to seek professional rehabilitation.
According to Nwoko, his goal was for Regina to be “alive and healthy”, not just for him, but for their sons.
As of the time of this report, the custody matter remains unresolved, with both parties standing firmly by their versions of events.
