The final voice note from late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has left many in tears as Prophetess Kehinde Osoba publicly shared details of their last exchange before the actress’s death.
In a video circulating online, Kehinde Osoba recounted the night events unfolded and played the voice note Tope sent her.Kehinde explained that the voice note arrived after Tope had left her place earlier.
“That night, nobody called me. The last message I left for Tope that night was when I couldn’t hear her car. She had sent a voice note just before she died and I want to play it for you guys.”
In the message, the actress pleaded:
“Mummy, please, let them come and carry my dead body at home so they can bury me properly. Please, please, please.”
She continued:
“She said I should come take her body at home so they can bury her properly. That was the message she sent to me after they took her away from my place. I missed this particular message—it didn’t open.”
Kehinde played the voice note she had earlier sent Tope because she didn’t wait at an agreed location.
“If I didn’t want you to come, I wouldn’t have asked you to. Learn to be patient. The head of the C&S church died and we’ve been having services everyday in Abule Egba. I can’t tell you to come join me there and that’s why I said you should come meet me at this church because I will come and take you home from there. Learn to be patient, where are you?”
According to Kehinde, the person who later came to pick Tope from her home never informed her of the actress’s death.
“The person that called me when he came to pick Tope from home didn’t call me to inform me that she died.”
Tope Osoba, aged 40, passed away in early August 2026. Her family has publicly dismissed unverified claims circulating about the cause of her death, including links to her previous breast cancer battle, and urged the public to rely only on official family statements.
