The Grammy-winning artist broke her silence in a candid video posted on her Instagram Story on Monday, July 21, 2026, just days after she and Okoye were spotted having dinner together in Venice, Italy. The pair had earlier drawn attention when they appeared side by side at the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture Show during Paris Fashion Week.

“No cap, I’m really hip hop’s Britney Spears,” Cardi B declared, comparing herself to the pop icon known for relentless media attention.
She went further, revealing she knows intimate details about many celebrities yet the public rarely hears about their private lives.
