Popular content creator and boxer Carter Efe has publicly lamented the delay in receiving his promised ₦50 million prize after defeating singer Portable in the recent celebrity boxing match.

In a viral video, Carter Efe expressed frustration over the unpaid winnings from the Chaos in the Ring 4 event held at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The businessman Emeka ‘E-Money’ Okonkwo had pledged the huge sum to the eventual winner.

“I haven’t seen the N50 million ooo. I nearly died in that fight and I haven’t seen the N50 million. They better pay me the N50 oo.”

The skitmaker, who won by unanimous decision against Portable, gave organisers a short ultimatum, demanding payment within days. His emotional outburst has sparked widespread reactions, with fans divided between sympathising with him and questioning the delay in fulfilling the high-profile pledge.

The victory had initially brought Carter Efe massive celebration, including club appearances with stars like Zlatan and Davido. However, the non-payment has now turned the triumph into fresh drama, raising questions about trust and fulfilment of promises in celebrity events.

This development adds another layer of controversy to the already heated rivalry with Portable, who had earlier claimed he was robbed in the fight.
