Media personality and first-time mother Toke Makinwa has candidly opened up about using the weight-loss medication Mounjaro as part of her impressive post-pregnancy transformation.

While on a recent trip to Cape Town, South Africa, Toke flaunted her toned abs and banging body, leaving many fans impressed and curious about her snapback journey after welcoming her baby, Yaya. In response to the buzz, she took to Snapchat to share the truth behind her results.

“I’m not one to pretend or lie. I was on Mounjaro till December; my last dose was on the 31st, and I hit the gym hard in January. I have worked out every day of the week but for Sat/Sun for 4 months.”

She emphasised the power of consistency, stating:

“Consistency really produces results.”

Toke, who gave birth in 2025, combined the medication with intense daily workouts to achieve her current physique. Her openness contrasts with many celebrities who face accusations of hiding their weight-loss methods.

The former OAP, known for her fashion sense and media presence, has previously spoken about body image, including a change of heart regarding her past preference for a bigger backside after undergoing BBL. At 40, she continues to inspire many with her dedication to fitness and self-improvement.

Toke’s revelation joins a growing list of Nigerian celebrities discussing the use of medications like Mounjaro and Ozempic for weight management, sparking conversations about health, transparency, and body standards in the public eye.
