Nigerian gospel singer and celebrated Nollywood soundtrack voice Onos Nancy Brisibi has passed away at the age of 55. She died on March 23, 2026, following a prolonged illness, her family announced in an official statement released on Thursday, March 26.
The Brisibi family expressed their sorrow in the statement, writing:
“The Brisibi family announces with deep sorrow the passing of esteemed Sister Onos Nancy Brisibi, who transitioned to glory on March 23, 2026, after a protracted illness.”
They remembered her as
“a devoted Christian, a gifted songstress, and a passionate praise and worship leader whose angelic voice touched many lives.”
