Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has opened up about another pregnancy loss, saying she was four months gone when it happened and that she was still on a film set when her body gave way.
She shared the story on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at her Bestie Jesu Concert in Lagos.
“I was four month pregnant, but I lost it. But guess what, I was filming, so I was down,” she told the audience.
She said she could not bring herself to call her parents, especially her mother.
“I didn’t want to call my parents; you know how it is that you don’t want to. My parents, my mom is old, and I didn’t want to call my mom.”
Her husband, actor Kolawole Ajeyemi, was far away that day. The person she reached was Pastor Bolaji Idowu.
“I just told my husband, but that day he was far away, and guess who I called? I just called Pastor Bolaji. He just started praying for me, and he said, ‘Where are you?’ I said, ‘I’m on my way to the hospital.’”
When he asked what the hospital planned to do, she answered, “They want to do an evacuation.” Then came the help she publicly thanked him for.
“And Pastor Bolaji sent me millions. Thank you so much, Pastor Bolaji. God bless you.”
The disclosure is not her first. In 2022, on Channels Television’s Rubbin’ Minds, she said she had already lost a pregnancy and cried because she still wanted one or two more children.
“Yes I want to have more kids. I was actually pregnant but I lost it. It’s fine though. But when it happened I cried, I cried a lot because I just want to have one or two more kids and I’m done, but things happen.”
She has a son, Ire, and a stepdaughter with Ajeyemi, whom she married in 2019. Fans still ask when the next baby will come. This latest testimony shows why that question can land like a bruise.
