Rapper Odumodublvck has ignited a massive firestorm in the Nigerian music industry after launching explosive accusations of sexual abuse against fellow rapper Blaqbonez, comparing him to Ghanaian footballer Thomas Partey and claiming key industry figures are aware but staying silent.

In a series of heated posts, Odumodublvck declared:

“THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PARTEY AND BLAQBONEZ IS THAT PARTEY HAS NOT GONE TO TRIAL. THE OTHER MAN IS GUILTY BUT THE NIGERIAN MUSIC INDUSTRY DECIDES TO TURN IT INTO A RAP BEEF.”

He directly called out music journalist Motolani Alake, Choc City Music, and media personality Kemi Smallz, alleging they know about the claims.

“@OneMotolani YOU ARE WELL AWARE THAT THE BOY IS A SEXUAL ABUSER. SAME WITH @bizzleosikoya AND THE ENTIRE @choccitymusic. EVEN @kemismallzz IS AWARE. AND SHE’S A WOMAN.”

Odumodublvck further criticised what he described as performative advocacy for women in the industry, stating that such support often disappears when allegations involve insiders. He doubled down in follow-up posts:

“THE BOY IS A BASTARD. A SEXUAL ABUSER. ALL OF THEM KNOW. THEY SHOULD SUE ME IF I AM LYING.”

Kemi Smallz responded, questioning why her name was mentioned and clarifying that Odumodublvck had called her to explain his side and planned to appear on her show. In reply, Odumodublvck insisted his claims were facts, not opinions, and challenged her to question Blaqbonez directly.

“THIS IS FOR WHEN I SEE YOU HANGOUT WITH A SEXUAL ABUSER… ASK HIM IF HE WAS ARRESTED & DETAINED. ASK HIM IF HE PAID DAMAGES. ASK HIM IF HE SLEPT IN A CELL FOR TWO NIGHTS.”

The allegations have divided netizens, with some praising Odumodublvck for speaking out while others accuse him of turning a rap beef into character assassination and demand concrete evidence. Many have urged him to pursue legal channels instead of public rants.

As of the time of writing this report, Blaqbonez has yet to publicly respond to the latest wave of accusations. The intense back-and-forth has dominated conversations, highlighting deeper issues of accountability, silence, and rivalry within Nigeria’s music industry.
