Tinubu’s victory: Peter Obi will go to court for 8 years – Comedian Akpororo

Bowoto Tanimola, better known as Akpororo, a popular comedian, has mocked Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, who is currently in court over the 2023 presidential election.

During a recent performance, Akpororo inquired of his audience: “Peter Obi still they go court, abi?”

The crowd responded, “Yes.”

“He go still dey go court for eight years”, Akpororo added.

His joke didn’t sit well with many, especially Peter Obi’s supporters, who took to social media platforms to berate the comedian after the video went viral on Tuesday.

Recall that Peter Obi and the Labour Party have filed suits challenging the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, who was declared the winner of the February 25th presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The matter is still underway at the Presidential Election Petition Court.
