Controversial relationship therapist and social media influencer Blessing CEO has publicly ended her engagement to celebrity auto dealer IVD after 19 months, declaring she is done with a union she believes could destroy her. The announcement came during a TikTok live session where she addressed fan questions head-on and confirmed the split.
Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, told viewers she had finally listened to repeated calls from her followers to walk away.
“Somebody asked if IVD and I are still together. No, we are no longer together. We have broken up. Is that not what you guys want? These days, I like to respect my fans. Everybody says, ‘Leave IVD. He is not good for you. He brought you bad luck.’ I have left him. Let me pick up the pieces of my life,” she stated.
She described herself as both a single mother and a single woman ready to start over, even joking about being back on the market.
“So, I am back on the streets as a single mother and a single girl. You can see I went to do my hair. I am trying to maintain my beauty. I am single. Those of you who want to apply, feel free to apply in my DM, and make sure you have money. Anyone who wants to date IVD, feel free. Right now, I am in the market. I cannot be in a relationship that would kill me,” Blessing added.
The decision followed a turbulent few days. On November 3, Blessing shared a tearful video filmed from inside a parked car, saying she felt broken, mentally exhausted and swallowed by darkness. She had retreated there so her mother would not see her in that state. Shortly afterward, IVD (Ikechukwu Ogbonna) posted a written apology on Instagram referencing five years of personal struggle and asking for forgiveness for past mistakes. Blessing then unfollowed him and removed every photo of the pair from her Instagram page.
The couple got engaged in April 2025 after a highly public and often criticized romance that began in the months following the October 2022 death of IVD’s late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna. That earlier chapter involved domestic violence allegations and a manslaughter charge against IVD, which a Lagos court later dismissed in December 2025 after the prosecution failed to prove its case. Blessing had defended him publicly at the time and faced her own backlash.
Fans and critics have reacted with a mix of relief, skepticism and commentary on the long-running drama that defined one of Nigerian social media’s most closely watched pairings.
