Nigerian streamer Peller has sparked fresh reactions online after openly discussing masturbation in his marriage, saying he would rather do it than cheat on his wife, Jarvis, and claiming the act does not block blessings.

In clips from a recent nighttime car livestream, the content creator recounted an incident during a trip to Barbados.

“For me to cheat, I would rather just masturbate. My wife caught me doing it in Barbados, I was shocked. She asked why I didn’t come to her, I told her the doctor said we shouldn’t have sex for the time being. I respected her and the doctor,” he said.

In a related part of the conversation, he challenged the popular claim that masturbation blocks blessings.

“The day before my wedding, I did soapy, and on my wedding, King Ochacho dashed me a ₦400 million house,” he said, using the gift as evidence that the act had not stopped good fortune from reaching him.

Peller, whose real name is Habeeb Hamzat, rose to prominence through TikTok livestreams. He and Jarvis (Amoudu Elizabeth Aminata) married earlier this year after a public relationship. They recently announced they are expecting their first child.

The clips have drawn mixed reactions. Some praised what they saw as transparency and loyalty; others said the level of personal detail was unnecessary.
