Nollywood actor and content creator Dada Oluwasola Tolani, better known as Motolani Odobodobo, says men sometimes make romantic advances at him, and the attention still leaves him unsettled.

When asked in an interview with Oyinmomo TV, whether men come on to him, he did not dodge the question.

“They do come. They come and it provokes me. I once asked a friend of mine to tell me if I walk like those people and he said no. I’m always surprised. They do come,” he said.

Tolani said he does not argue with the men or police their choices. He simply ignores them.

“I don’t judge people. That is their own way of life, they know what they got themselves into. I don’t judge. I don’t just reply them. That is it.”

The confusion, he said, runs the other way with women.

“Girls don’t take me serious. They used to think I’m actually a player.”

In a May interview with Saturday Beats, he said viewers often treat his skit characters as his real life and assume he is a sugar boy off camera. In March, actress Laide Bakare publicly confirmed a romantic link with him, which only fed the chatter.

Tolani, who is from Ekiti State, has credits in Mr Raymond (2024), Chantel (2025) and Eni Egbere (2025).
