Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing and Big Brother Naija Level Up winner Phyna turned a talk-show interview into an open brawl on The Morayo Show, shoving past the host and throwing punches days before their billed celebrity boxing match. The clip has spread fast because it does not look like play-acting. It looks like a feud that refused to wait for October 1.
Host Morayo Afolabi-Brown had Phyna on the set and asked why she had decided to fight Nkechi. Phyna started answering with a line about age.
“People say it’s not about how old you are…”
She did not finish. Nkechi walked into the interview, cut her off, and the room collapsed into insults. Within seconds they were on each other, exchanging blows while Morayo tried to get between them. In the scramble they pushed the host down onto a chair on her own set.
The on-air explosion did not come from nowhere. On September 17, Nkechi posted a video telling Phyna, whose real name is Josephina Otabor, to stop constituting a nuisance online. She added that Phyna was always trending for the wrong reasons. Phyna answered the same day and refused the elder-sister lecture. She said they were not friends and that their last real talk had been about a movie and a possible stream. In another clip she went further, calling Nkechi an old woman and asking whether the public call-out was bullying.

Balmoral Group Promotions then put them on a poster. The bout, tagged Chaos in the Ring, is scheduled for October 1 at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, with broadcast plans listed around DAZN and SuperSport.

They were later seen confronting each other at Pretty Mike’s All White Party on September 20.
