Abuja businessman King Ochacho told a livestream audience he hit his first ₦1 billion at 21, then promised singer Davido a ₦1 billion house he says the star will sleep in on the night it is handed over.
The claims dropped during a September 17, 2026 session with streamer Peller and spread online.
“I made my first 1 billion naira at age 21 years old,” he said.
The vehicle, according to him, was charcoal. He described himself as the middleman who found Chinese buyers for an exporting firm, then stacked commissions until the figure hit a billion.
“I was doing a business called coal business(charcoal) so I got all these Chinese people and I was an agent to a company to export the coal. So the dividends I got within a period of time for that age was one 1 billion.”
Online replies were split between awe and outright disbelief.
Ochacho said the charcoal chapter did not last.
“Then later I joined politics then again I left politics to serve God and do my business.”
Asked why he walked away from politics, he framed himself as allergic to opposition.
“I am not a type of person that is against anybody, what I want is good governance so if the person in power can give us everything I am good. My prayer is to pray for who is the leader to succeed.”
Pressed on whether he had met Nigeria’s top political class, including the president, he went further.
“I have seen everybody and let me tell you something, forget about what is happening and I’m not here to preach for Tinubu but Tinubu is one of the best politician I have seen in my life time. He is one of the greatest political of all time forget about all why is happening.”
In the same conversation he added that Tinubu “made Buhari President and other presidents.”
Viewers who wanted him to address hardship in the country did not hide their anger in the replies.
The money talk then swung to gifts. Ochacho said he is raising Palace 7 for his own 50th birthday and attaching a second property to the party.
“I’m building Palace 7 where I want to celebrate my 50th birthday. I’m also building a house worth 1 billion naira for Davido, and I’ll present the house to Davido on that day, and he’ll sleep inside that house on my birthday.”
The Davido line fits a pattern he has been performing in public. A 2020 clip of him giving the singer land documents for a 1,200-square-metre plot has been circulating again. In August he told celebrities who received land from him, including names linked to that circle, to break ground within six months or lose the plots.
Peller, sitting across from him on this stream, already got the finished version of the gesture: a mansion in Abuja that Ochacho priced at ₦400 million, presented with keys and papers and described as free of endorsement strings. Ochacho called Peller the first person he had given a house and folded the streamer into the family, even floating names for Peller’s unborn child.
