Beauty entrepreneur and content creator Adeola Adeyemi, popularly known as Diiadem, has broken her silence on swirling online claims linking her to businessman Olakunle Churchill, popularly called Big Church, while also addressing a bitter public fallout with her former best friend Dabota Lawson and related accusations from Ehi Ogbebor.
In a series of Instagram stories and posts, Diiadem firmly denied any romantic affair or pregnancy tied to Churchill.
“I’ve known Big Church for over 13 years. We have a long-standing friendship that dates back to my school days in Ghana. The pregnancy rumour being attached to our friendship is completely false. I attend my friend’s events, I support the people I care about, and that’s all there is to it. Not every friendship needs to be turned into gist,” she stated.
She went further:
“I never admitted to being pregnant for anyone, nor did I confirm any of the narratives currently being circulated. The term ‘my married ex’ was simply me referencing a phrase that had already been used publicly. Somehow, that has now been turned into an entirely different story. Please, let’s stop turning assumptions into facts.”
The statements come after Dabota Lawson publicly accused Diiadem of dating the married Churchill while pretending to be friends with his wife and claimed she had supported her during a pregnancy. Diiadem hit back, saying she never denied knowing Churchill and alleged that Dabota had tried to introduce her and others to him.

Dabota later posted that no version of friendship requires her to accept disrespect and defended her Lagos friendships.
The drama escalated when private chats involving Ehi Ogbebor surfaced. Diiadem responded to the “runs girl” narrative with laughter and a sharp clarification.
“This whole ‘runs girl’ narrative will never stop making me laugh. Unlike some of you, I don’t attend orgy parties or sleep with different men for peanuts. Let’s be very clear. You people have been trying to destroy my reputation since 2013, and if that pushed certain men away from me, that’s perfectly fine. I chose to focus on myself, build my brand, and put my energy into my hustle.”
She recalled first meeting the person in question years ago at Movida club and later requesting to use a showroom for a shoot in 2020, stressing she treated the individual with respect based on a former friendship.
“Now you want to reduce years of hard work to, ‘Oh, she’s into runs?’ If that’s the narrative you want to push, then do your own and leave me out of it.”
Diiadem and Dabota’s fallout has dominated conversations across social media platforms, with fans and critics divided over the claims and counter-claims.
