The once close friendship between Real Housewives of Lagos stars Diiadem and Dabota Lawson has turned into a full-blown public war filled with bitter accusations of betrayal, money disputes and alleged smear campaigns.
Both beauty entrepreneurs often appeared together and supported each other’s businesses until the relationship soured in August 2026. The pair unfollowed each other on social media before the clash spilled onto Snapchat and blogs.
Diiadem, whose real name is Adeola Adeyemi, accused Dabota of using bloggers to launch hate trains and damage her reputation whenever friendships end. She pointed to Dabota’s alleged role in leaking Sophia Momodu’s boat incident and expressed pain over her daughter’s image appearing on a blog.
“I felt like a failed parent when I saw my daughter’s face on that dirty blog,” Diiadem said.
She also detailed financial disagreements, including returning a ₦5 million transfer that Dabota allegedly called a “girls game,” and claimed she repaid a ₦1 million loan with ₦1.5 million.
“I refuse to be used, manipulated, or dragged into unnecessary drama. Please, get over yourself and leave me alone. I just want to live,” she wrote.
Dabota hit back, challenging Diiadem to state exactly what she had done wrong beyond securing a funding opportunity that Diiadem also applied for but did not complete, renovating her store, and launching a new innovation.
“SAY EXACTLY WHAT DABOTA LAWSON DID TO YOU,” Dabota demanded.
She insisted she addressed the Sophia Momodu boat matter directly on national television during The Real Housewives of Lagos filming and that they had moved past it.
The feud degenerated into even messier terrain when Dabota alleged that Diiadem had an affair with married businessman Olakunle Churchill and engaged in public displays of affection, while pretending to be friends with his wife.
“Concerning Churchill, babe, you brought your own business into the public domain. You went to Abuja, and within a matter of hours, you were publicly displaying your relationship and engaging in PDA in a nightclub,” Dabota stated.
She added that she processed visas for both Diiadem and Churchill for a Bali trip and still has the evidence. Dabota also claimed she supported Diiadem during a pregnancy linked to the married man and repeatedly declined requests to invite wealthy men to her events.
Diiadem confirmed she knew Churchill and did not deny the relationship. She fired back by accusing Dabota of wanting Churchill herself and of trying to set up her friend Ehi Ogbebor with him after Churchill allegedly rejected Ehi.
“I’ve never denied knowing him. But let’s talk about her real issue: Churchill rejected your friend, Ehi, and you spent a lot of time trying to make that happen for her,” Diiadem said.
She further claimed Dabota spoke badly about actress Tonto Dikeh and tried to introduce her to various men for financial gain.
The feud widened when Ehi Ogbebor responded to the rejection claim in a leaked voice note. Ehi threatened Diiadem, saying she would “beat you like a baby” and warning her to run if their paths ever crossed. She called Diiadem a “rat” and alleged that years earlier, during a trip to Uyo, Diiadem had multiple casual encounters with men while she (Ehi) was already successful and Diiadem was struggling financially.
What began as a private friendship has now become one of the most talked-about celebrity clashes of the year, with fans divided and more details still emerging.
