Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has released the seventh instalment of his ongoing tell-all series, accusing his brothers Jude Okoye and Paul Okoye of repeatedly stealing from a shared Forex account that held $3.2 million in 2013.
In the video shared on social media, the singer detailed what he described as continuous diversion of funds from P-Square related accounts. He presented bank statements from Northside Entertainment accounts across EcoBank, Zenith Bank and FCMB, claiming the figures showed unequal distributions that favoured Jude the most while he received the least.
Peter emphasised that the trio had agreed to split money equally three ways. According to him, the betrayal hurt more because it came from family.
“The betrayal wasn’t the hardest part. The backstabbing was… because of who it came from,” he stated.
One segment highlighted a total inflow of $1,925,000 in a particular account, with Peter alleging “Jude got everything.” He also referenced other disbursements where Jude allegedly received over $1.1 million from one EcoBank account while he got significantly less.
The singer took a swipe at his twin, calling Paul rude and linking that attitude to the decision to make Jude their manager. He claimed that when P-Square briefly reunited, Jude approached Paul and said he would use the shared money on their side to support himself.
“Paul, you are rude… No wonder you wanted Jude to be our manager. When PSquare got back, Jude walked up to Paul and said ‘As you have gotten your PSquare back, this money on our side, I will use it to sustain myself.’ Paul said ‘No’…” Peter recounted.
He further alleged that Jude signed artist Cynthia Morgan in 2013 using an unregistered company, Northside Music, which was only formally registered in 2015, while funds from aggregators continued flowing into Northside Entertainment accounts that Paul and Jude allegedly shared.
Peter has released multiple videos in recent days covering issues ranging from bank signatory removal and royalty diversions to property disputes and a letter demanding he stop performing P-Square songs.
