Nollywood actor Stan Nze has stirred massive reactions after boldly declaring that he can forgive cheating in a relationship, insisting that genuine, selfless love holds the power to sustain any union despite betrayals.
The popular actor made the controversial revelation during a recent interview where he was asked if love alone is sufficient to keep a relationship going. Stan did not hesitate in his response.
“Love is enough. Real love,” he affirmed, clarifying that he meant the deep, Christ-like love that is selfless, kind, and quick to forgive.
When directly asked about infidelity, Stan left no room for doubt:
“Can I forgive cheating? Yes, I can forgive.”
He however warned against taking forgiveness for granted, stressing that it should never become a license for repeated wrongdoing. Citing scripture, he added, “We shall not continue in sin that grace may abound,” emphasizing that forgiveness must be balanced with wisdom and accountability.
Stan explained that many relationships crumble because partners find it hard to forgive, hold onto grudges, or refuse to address underlying issues. According to him, true love rooted in kindness and selflessness can overcome even serious mistakes like cheating.
