Fast-rising Nigerian singer Shoday has impressed many with his level-headed approach to career risks, revealing he deliberately avoided tattoos and kept a solid Plan B in case his music dream did not succeed.

The talented artiste, known for his consistency and growing hits, opened up during a recent interview about his educational background and cautious life choices.

“I studied Building Technology in school, and I’m here doing music.”

He pointed to his clean skin as proof of his forward-thinking mindset:

“Look at my body, do you see any tattoo? No. It’s because I’m skeptical. If music does not work, I’m going back to office work.”

The singer expressed strong faith in his musical destiny after years of hard work and multiple releases.

“I used to tell people, if God did not want me to go far, I won’t get to this point that I am presently. The fact that I’m here and I’ve done it consistently, not one, not two, not three, not five songs. I’m still here. That means God really wants me to do this.”

Shoday also shared valuable life lessons drawn from his upbringing.

“One thing I’ve learned so far in life is it will not be sweet. Sometimes it won’t go as planned. Just know how to always have plan B. Always know when to quickly flip the script and do something new.”

He credited his mother and family for instilling this resilient mentality:

“If you come from where I came from, you always have plan B… That’s how my mom and my family trained me.”

Shoday’s story serves as motivation for aspiring artistes to stay grounded while pursuing their dreams.
