Influencer and content creator Jarvis (Elizabeth Aminata Amadou), also known as Jadrolita, has issued a strongly worded legal demand to popular comedian and streamer Carter Efe over alleged defamation, cyber harassment, and character assassination.
Jarvis’s lawyers, OMO-RICHARD ATTORNEYS, sent a cease and desist letter accusing Carter of a sustained campaign of public ridicule through his livestreams on platforms like Twitch and TikTok. They specifically highlighted claims that Jarvis had “dated all Abuja boys” and insinuations of amorous relationships with individuals referred to as “Mr. Joblag” and “Mr. Hilarious.”
The letter also addressed allegations made during the visit of foreign creator ShowSpeed to Nigeria, where Carter allegedly claimed Jarvis was lodged in Transcorp Hotel as a precondition for collaboration, implying she traded sexual favours.
Jarvis’s team described these statements as false, reckless, and malicious, designed to damage her reputation, career, and emotional wellbeing. They demanded immediate retraction, a public apology published across all platforms and in two national newspapers, and a written undertaking to stop further attacks, giving Carter 14 days to comply or face court action.
The feud reportedly stems from ongoing tensions involving Carter, Jarvis, and her partner, content creator Peller. Carter has frequently commented on their relationship in his streams, often in a provocative style that has drawn both support and criticism.
In response to the lawsuit during a livestream, Carter Efe took a humorous approach. In a widely circulated video, he jokingly issued a counter-claim:
“I don’t have the money to hire a lawyer so I hereby sue Jarvis for the sum of ₦1.8 billion for collecting GLE 350 without love and conscience. I give her 4 hours to return the car or be jailed for 40 years in prison.”
