Wizkid Reposts Video as Fan Slams Seun Kuti

Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has finally reacted to the ongoing online clash involving Seun Kuti, and he did it without saying a single word.

The singer set social media on fire on Tuesday after reposting a viral video made by an unidentified female member of Wizkid FC, who questioned Seun Kuti’s repeated attacks on Wizkid and his fan base.

Entertainment Reporter gathered that Seun Kuti, son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has been calling out Wizkid FC for several days, openly promising to continue taunting them. The remarks triggered backlash, with several Wizkid fans responding through videos and posts.

However, one particular video stood out, and caught Wizkid’s attention. In the now-viral clip, the female fan spoke in Yoruba, calling on the Kuti family to intervene before things spiral further.

“Seun Kuti’s family, is this the way you will be looking at him until his situation becomes worse?” she said, using a Yoruba idiom

The lady went on to directly challenge Seun Kuti’s relevance in today’s music space, making a controversial comparison that immediately stirred reactions online.

“If not for Wizkid, who cares about Fela? Do you still think we are in 1990?”

She also mocked what she described as Seun Kuti’s inheritance, claiming:

“Is there any other inheritance you’ve got apart from Fela’s dance and performance pant?”

The fan ended her message with a strong warning, saying she would respond aggressively if Seun Kuti continued cursing Wizkid FC.

Shortly after the video gained traction, Bigwiz reposted it on his Instagram story, a move many fans described as a “silent but loud” response.
