In an official statement issued on Tuesday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, the police confirmed that Peller was taken into custody after his actions were deemed a serious threat to public safety.

The arrest has reignited national conversations around the growing trend of dangerous stunts by content creators in pursuit of views, clout, and engagement.
Many Nigerians have called for stricter enforcement of traffic laws, especially as road traffic crashes remain a major concern in Lagos, often linked to speeding, distracted driving, and disregard for traffic regulations.
The Lagos State Police reiterated that no one is above the law and assured residents of its commitment to public safety and strict enforcement of traffic regulations.
