Controversial journalist Dr. Kemi Olunloyo has sparked widespread concern after alleging during a live session that popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has been unreachable for days.
Speaking in a recent broadcast, Olunloyo claimed she had spoken with the actress’s husband, Ned Nwoko, suggesting that the situation surrounding the couple was far more serious than what the public had seen online.
“I’ve spoken to Ned today, and I’m reading his chat right here,” Olunloyo said. “What is going on with Regina on social media is even 10 percent of what’s really happening. I just want to make sure you guys are educated because I’m only interested.”
The journalist went on to allege that Daniels had refused to attend rehabilitation, despite concerns about her wellbeing.
“She doesn’t think she has a drug problem, and that’s where the problem starts,” Olunloyo claimed. “That was how it started with Whitney and many celebrities that are dead today. Once you don’t want to go to rehab…”
Olunloyo further alleged that the actress had not been in contact with her family for several days.
“The children can’t find her. It’s three days now, and they don’t know where she is. They’re with the nannies,” she said. “In America, Regina has already lost temporary custody of her children. Because she has a husband and nannies, they’re probably with them. But she won’t be able to have custody of those children.”
Expressing concern, the journalist added that Daniels “could harm herself” if not found soon.
Her remarks have since drawn mixed reactions online, with fans urging caution and calling for verified information before conclusions are made.
As of the time of filing this report, neither Regina Daniels nor her representatives have issued any public statement in response to the allegations.
