Dr Michael Nwoko, brother to Senator Ned Nwoko, has released an official statement addressing the ongoing marital tension between his brother and Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.
In a statement shared via his Instagram page, Michael urged fans and members of the public to remain calm and show understanding, stressing that the issue is a private family matter that will be resolved internally.
He wrote:
“I respectfully crave the indulgence of all fans and people of goodwill to be calm and continue to demonstrate understanding, as whatever is happening between Distinguished Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko and his dear wife, Mrs Regina Daniels Nwoko, is a private family matter. It would be resolved internally. Thank you all, and God bless.”
The appeal comes amid growing public interest following Senator Ned Nwoko’s earlier statement regarding the state of his marriage.

The lawmaker had publicly attributed the recent tension to what he described as Regina’s “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, repeated efforts to help his wife seek professional help were resisted, leading to worsening incidents at home.
He also alleged that the actress had recently displayed violent behaviour, claiming she “assaulted three domestic staff and destroyed property.”
The Delta-born senator maintained that he had never been violent towards any of his wives and urged Regina to focus on rehabilitation.
The unfolding situation has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans expressing shock and concern while others call for the couple to handle their differences privately.
Dr Michael Nwoko’s statement now appears aimed at calming the storm and steering the matter away from public scrutiny as the family seeks an amicable resolution.
