How Chioma rejected me initially – Davido

David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, an award-winning Nigerian singer, has revealed how his wife, Chioma Rowland, initially rejected his romantic advances towards her.

Davido told vlogger Tayo Aina that he first met Chioma while they were both students at Babcock University in Osun State.

He claimed it was love at first sight, and that as soon as he saw her, he asked one of his aides to call her for him, but Chioma declined.

He said, “I was in a Prado, and I looked behind and I saw this girl walking. Just there with her bag, it was Chioma.

“I told Lati omo, I like that girl, go and call that girl for me. He called her but she did not answer me at the time.”

The 30 Billion Gang head honcho, however, said Chioma later came to Lagos and they linked up.

The couple got married shortly after the death of their son, Ifeanyi who drowned in a swimming at the singer’s Banana Island mansion last year.
