‘Acting is my calling’ – Ruth Kadiri

Ruth Kadiri, a Nollywood actress and filmmaker, has described her profession as her calling.

Acting, according to the award-winning thespian, is her life’s work.

She stated that as a woman and filmmaker, she has learned to create her own visual style, and that through the lens, she is sharing her mind with the world.

The mother of two revealed that films have healing powers, emphasising that filmmaking is her purpose and that it has brought her peace.

Sharing beautiful photos of herself on her Instagram page, Ruth Kadiri wrote, “As a woman and a filmmaker, I’ve learnt to create my own visual style!

“To Share my mind with the world through my lense. And through God, I have seen hearts healed through my stories. It’s my purpose, and I’ve found peace with it.”
