How my mother betrayed me- Bimbo Ademoye

Actress, Bimbo Ademoye hardly talks about her mother when she interviews. However, many were stunned when the acclaimed role interpreter opened up about the kind of relationship she has with her mother.

Ademoye made this known in an interview with Hawa Magaji, host of ‘Who is in my house’.

When asked about her mother, the ‘Saro’ actress said: “My mum is very much alive she lives like fifteen , twenty minutes away from me.We just don’t have a friendship.I don’t talk about it, because I would love for some people to respect that.I am a very private person.My mom left when I was two.My first ever betrayal came from my mother.I try to build a relationship with her.Right now, we have a relationship, I am doing my duties as a child, paying for this, paying the rent, allowance  and all that.But that’s about what we have.I am very okay with that, I am okay with the no friendship, no closeness zone”.

Shedding light on what her growing up was like with her  father, she said: “Growing up with a single dad wasn’t the easiest, poor guy there are some things he doesn’t know, like when one experiences one’s  first monthly flow.He is just as shocked as one is. At some point he was torn I won’t say confused.He had to go work for his children and he had to be there for his children.At some point he had to give us to his biological sisters, for us to be with them”.

The versatile actress also revealed that she is a millionaire partly because of her fans.

“I have been the luckiest when it comes to followers. My followers are so adorable. I call them my cyber family.I don’t have toxic people. I say this with all humility. Apart from my hard work and my drive, part of the reason I am a millionaire today is because of my followers..If I had money like that, I would meet with 2.3 million of them”.
