Social media activist VeryDarkMan has ignited a fresh storm by taking direct aim at Davido and Zlatan Ibile in a blunt video response that is spreading rapidly across platforms. The activist, whose real name is Martins Vincent Otse, declared he would rather masturbate than beg any woman for attention, while mocking the Afrobeats star and issuing a clear warning to the rapper.
The latest exchange stems from a video of Davido vibing and dancing to a Zlatan track that contains a pointed lyric many listeners linked to VeryDarkMan. In the song, Zlatan raps a line referencing “Vincent” and stating he does not masturbate, a phrase that quickly fueled online speculation of a targeted jab at the activist known for openly discussing the topic.
VeryDarkMan wasted little time reacting. In his own video, he played a clip of Davido appearing emotional while begging a lady and on his knees before mimicking the pose himself.
“I no be David Adeleke wey dey beg woman. I will rather masturbate than make I kneel down dey beg woman,” he said, drawing a sharp contrast between his stance and what he portrayed as Davido’s approach.
He went further by addressing the attention his previous comments on masturbation had generated.
“I told you people I masturbate, I create awareness on masturbation, it’s not a new thing. What did you discover? Everything you know about me, I told you,” VeryDarkMan stated, framing the subject as something he has never hidden.
Turning his focus to Zlatan, the activist issued a direct challenge.
“Zlatan, I am coming. You will learn the hard way,” he declared, signaling that a response is on the way.
The current clash builds on earlier tension from late October, when VeryDarkMan publicly questioned the impact of Zlatan’s album promotion and traditional wedding, claiming neither generated the expected attention despite heavy publicity. Those remarks followed the release of the track featuring the contested lyric.

The back-and-forth has drawn mixed reactions online, with some users laughing at the blunt language while others debate whether the lyric was intentional or if the activist is escalating a minor reference into a full feud. Davido has not issued a public response at the time of writing, and Zlatan has also remained silent so far.
