TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, has turned on critics who have trailed his relationship with Jarvis from dating to marriage and now to their first pregnancy, dismissing fresh demands for a DNA test on the unborn child.
The outburst came during a livestream on Friday, October 9, 2026, a day after the couple posted maternity photos and confirmed they are expecting. Peller said the noise has simply changed shape. People who once swore Jarvis would never date him are now questioning the baby they have not even had yet.
“Everybody kept saying she wasn’t going to date me, that I should focus on my career and my life, that I should leave her alone. When this girl came to Lagos and I started living with her, they said, ‘Is it by living in her house? That I won’t even smell her pant?’ Some people were even cursing themselves that if I smell her pant, they should die. I said okay, but I was already washing pants,” he said.
The pair formalised the relationship in stages this year. Peller completed traditional rites with Jarvis’s family in Benin City in June, they held a court wedding in Lagos on July 29, and they followed it with a white wedding on August 1. On Thursday, October 8, they announced the pregnancy on Instagram. Peller said the wedding did not quiet the commentary.
“After that, we got married. They started saying, ‘Why would I do a court marriage? She wants to chop all my money.’ Which money do I even have? Like, must you have a say? Must you have a say?”
He said the latest line of attack landed after the pregnancy became public.
“After the wedding, now we have a baby. They’ve all stopped what they were saying before, now they’ve started saying something else: ‘That baby, you have to do a DNA.’ Fuck DNA.”
In another part of the same livestream, he warned critics.
“Me, I will arrest you all.”
