Speed Darlington’s aide, Goski, has walked out on the singer after four years, accusing him of exploitation and saying he was paid N250,000 from a N30 million purse tied to the Carter Efe boxing bout.

Goski, also referred to as Goskey, made the claims in a public statement where he thanked Darlington Achakpo, known as Speed Darlington or Akpi, for the chance to work with him before shutting the door.

“I’m no longer with Speedy. Nobody should call me, nobody should involve me or text me about booking him or whatever it is.”

He said the singer wanted a personal assistant he could intimidate, not someone who could bring jobs and make content. Goski claimed he linked Speed Darlington to clients and influential people, and that he spent his own money travelling repeatedly to Abuja while the singer was under arrest. Speed Darlington was detained in Abuja in 2024 over a case tied to comments about Burna Boy.

Goski alleged that after Speed Darlington collected N30 million from the deal around his fight with Carter Efe, he handed over N250,000.

“250,000, 0.75% out of 30 million. Not even one per cent. Not even one million.”

He said Speed Darlington had once promised him six per cent of every job, then turned around and said there was no formal contract. Goski also claimed he often paid his own transport even while arranging flights for the singer and another assistant.

“Even if I don’t have a contract with you, does it mean that you keep me like trash?”

He closed the statement the same way he opened it.

“I’m not with Speedy, and I’ll never be with him anymore.”

This is not their first public break. In July 2024, Speed Darlington posted a video saying he had sacked Goskey.
