Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has broken her silence after claims that a court order obtained by her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, against Lizzy Anjorin was fake. In a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the veteran star demanded proof from her accusers and insisted the law will run its course.
“ANYONE WHO ALLEGES MUST PROVE. No one is above the law. Don’t be deceived. The law and justice will take its full course,” she wrote.
She warned fans not to swallow online claims of secret evidence that never appears in public.
“It’s 2026. Please stop believing anyone who comes online to manipulate grown adults like you… Saying ‘I have proof, I have evidence’ without ever showing or posting the evidence for you to verify for yourself.”
The statement follows days of fresh heat in her long-running feud with Lizzy Anjorin. On September 2, 2026, Justice Yetunde Adesanya of the Lagos State High Court granted an interim order in Suit No. LD/ADR/6646/2026, restraining Anjorin from posting, circulating or broadcasting images of Priscilla, her husband Juma Mussa Mkambala and their son, Rakeem, on platforms including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok. The order was granted ex parte and remains interim pending further proceedings. Priscilla later shared a certified true copy online.

Anjorin dismissed the case as “dead on arrival,” arguing that posting a court letter before serving the respondent makes the action fake.
“If you post court letter on any platform before serving person wey you wan go serve, that court case na fake court case,” she said.
Iyabo’s new post answers that charge without naming her rival.
“Please let me be very clear: There is NO WAY — I repeat, NO WAY — we would ever post anything on social media that is fake. It’s a public notice. You can go verify it if you are in denial. Know that. And know peace.”
Iyabo framed the latest storm as blowback from years of public activism, not a random celebrity fight.
“I was never just an Ordinary actress or celebrity. Activism has been, and will always be, a part of me. I have NO regrets. I repeat, I have NO regrets helping and fighting for those I fought for. If I had the opportunity to do it again, I would. I just no longer bring it to social media.”
She called the online attacks “noise these miscreants call attacks” and reaffirmed her confidence is in God.
“No one is bigger than God, and hence no one can rewrite my story or that of my kids. No matter how hard they plot, curse, defame, manipulate, twist and bark. My family and I are God’s chosen.”
The clash with Anjorin has stretched across years and earlier included a N1 billion defamation suit Iyabo filed in 2023. A Lagos High Court later dismissed that suit as incompetent over a procedural defect and awarded N500,000 costs against her counsel.
